01 / THE WORKSPACE

Less scrolling.
More listening.

Keep the phrase close.

Loop by bars or time. Slow the recording without changing its pitch. Choose a destination key and let the sound and chart move together.

Write what you hear.

Add a note at the playhead, label a tricky moment, or correct a chord. Read chord names, Roman numerals, or both. Save a practice map to carry your work into the next session.

Bring the room along.

Use Cinema for the performance, Studio for the chart, Transcribe for detected notes, and Compact for a smaller workspace. The essential controls stay within reach.

02 / MAC & WEB

One language.
Two workspaces.

On your Mac

Import a performance. Analyse its key, chords, notes and beat grid. Separate parts, compare them, and export a practice map.

Native macOS 14+ app for Apple silicon and Intel. Analysis uses optional engine and model downloads.

New Mac edition in local testing

In your browser

Open the Jude example, or your own recording and a Mac-exported map. Loop, transpose, edit and teach in the same visual language.

Analysis and stem separation run on the Mac. The website reads their results; it does not transcribe new links live.

The path today

Paste a supported public link into the Mac app for import and analysis. Availability depends on the platform. Export the map and reopen its recording in the browser. YouTube also plays through its embedded player, with limited controls.

Your recordings

Local files opened in the browser stay on your device. Spotify and Apple Music streams are not supported. The Jude teaching example is supplied separately with his original source credit.

Built by Jason Zac, for the way musicians learn. At Nathaniel School of Music, listening comes first. Detected chords, notes and beat grids are suggestions to check by ear—not an answer sheet.
